Creative Technology Ltd., has announced the availability of new beta drivers for Creative Sound Blaster, Audigy and X-Fi sound cards on the Windows 7 Beta operating system. The new drivers are designed to complement and optimize the overall user experience when using Creative products under this incredible new platform. The Windows 7 Availability Chart for Creative Products at http://support.creative.com/Windows7 keeps users regularly updated with the latest product drivers.

Current products that will automatically support the Windows 7 Beta operating system include Creative ZEN MP3 players, Creative Vado pocket video cameras and Creative Live! webcams introduced in the last two years. Updated drivers for certain Creative legacy products will be made available to users at a later date.

“We are very pleased to release the first wave of compatible drivers to allow a smooth transition to the new Windows 7 Beta operating system. Our engineers have fine-tuned the Sound Blaster and X-Fi drivers so users will be able to enjoy the same award-winning audio enhancement effects they have experienced in earlier versions of Windows,” said Steve Erickson, Vice- President and General Manager of Audio and Video for Creative Labs, Inc.
