There’s more than one way to skin a cat and certainly more than one way to build a solid P35-class motherboard. Known for bring quality solutions at affordable prices, MSI has been at the forefront of PC hardware technology or well over a decade and makes some of the nicer products going – its latest P35 Platinum motherboard is a testament to that.

MSI took some creative liberties on this board and implemented the now-staple passive cooling system which uses heatpipes to cool the north and south-bridge chipsets. The overall look of the particular cooler it uses leaves things looking a bit curvaceous and different. PC enthusiasts will appreciate the look assuming they’re using a case with clear side panels. We find the look to be very unique and helps the P35 Platinum stand out a bit from the pack.
