Lord knows there’s been a time in every gamer’s life – while at a LAN event – they wished for a nice, cold drink, only to see that their stash of beer has run warm. Nothing outside of being fragged one too many times can drive a man (or woman) to frustration than warm beer. It’s almost enough to make for a lousy LAN experience and one that’s easily forgettable.

Unless you’re fortunate enough to have a mini-fridge at your disposal, you don’t’ have a ton of options available to help you in this demise. That is until recently – a company by the name of CoolIT systems has devised a self-powered USB device which contains a cooling platter to help keep warm temperatures at bay.

Priced at $ 25 dollars, this handy gadget is pretty self explanatory and doesn’t include any real detailed instruction. It is noted on the company’s website, however, that it’s really designed to help cold drink stay cool – not intended on making a warm drink cold.
